MAM welcomes Charles Blank, vice president of stores for AutoZone to our board. Charles joined AutoZone as a part-time employee in 2000 and became a store manager in 2001. He was named vice president of stores in 2018.
“I take pride in developing people for leadership roles, and my strong foundation with AutoZone’s core values make me particularly excited to join the board of MAM, which is working to coach, grow and lead young people in Memphis,” said Blank. “I got my first job at AutoZone when I was a teenager living in inner-city Bridgeport, Connecticut, so I know what it’s like to grow and succeed coming from a neighborhood like the ones MAM serves in Memphis today.”
