The coronavirus pandemic has threatened the dreams of countless high school athletes across the country. 901 Hoop World, the City of Memphis, and Memphis Athletic Ministries (MAM) are teaming up to host a unique opportunity for high school players to showcase their skills to coaches and scouts near and far.

The Platform will be a live-streamed basketball showcase that will give athletes in grades 9-12 an opportunity to continue pursuing college basketball. College coaches at all levels, recruiting services, media, and scouts will be invited to tune in to YouTube, Facebook, and other online streaming services to view the players as they participate in drills and games. Camp coaches will also evaluate each player. Additionally, all games will be recorded and made available to participants, coaches, and others for on-demand viewing throughout the recruitment season.

The Platform kicks off at the MAM Grizzlies Center, 2107 Ball Road, on October 24th with two sessions. The Rising Session is reserved for grades 9-10, and the Select Session will follow for grades 11-12. October 25th is the invitation-only Elite Session for grades 9-12. Each athlete will participate in drills and play a total of three officiated games.

Attendees and participants will be required to follow COVID-19 safety protocols, including health screenings and questionnaires upon arrival, mask wearing, and social distancing. Attendance will be extremely limited to adhere to safety guidelines.
