Lynette at KAA – Summer 2016
“Bravery.” The one word that Lynette, a junior at Hamilton High School, uses to describe her Kids Across America camp experience. “It was a brave move for me to leave my home and cell phone for a whole week. I was scared to go five hours away to a place I had never been before. (Branson, MO).”
Gaining confidence in herself is one of the many things Lynette took away from her week at camp. “The first day I struggled with being brave even though I knew God was with me. Then I met girls who were like me and wanted to grow more in faith, too.”
“I can’t wait to go back this summer and see what God has in store for me,” says Lynette. She is excited that her little sister Cherita will go to camp this year for the first time. “I hope she grows stronger with God and has more bravery than I did. I can’t wait to share this unforgettable experience with her.”
