‘… And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.’ (Hebrews 3:6 NLT)
I want to encourage you to keep your hope in Jesus alive and receive His courage and confidence in all He leads you to do. How easy is it to begin placing our confidence in our own performance, perspective, personality, other people, pleasure etc., all of which will at some point fail and disappoint you.
The verse above lets us know that Jesus is in charge of God’s house where He is Lord and His Presence reigns. This is the place we ought to live, for in His house confidence and courage abound as we trust (hope) in Him.
Hoping in Jesus is expecting, anticipating, thinking and feasting on His Presence. Doing so will keep us confident and courageous through the ups and downs, highs and lows, as we serve His Blessed Name!
