At MAM, our afterschool program makes a meaningful difference for nearly 1,500 youth across Memphis—at no cost to families! 🎉

From academic support to physical activity and social-emotional learning, we provide a safe and nurturing environment that working families can count on. Without programs like ours, hundreds of Memphis families could face tough choices—missing work, struggling with childcare expenses, or managing without the resources their children need. For many families, paying for afterschool care can be an unaffordable expense, averaging over $2,000 per year per child. Our community-centered approach helps fill that gap, supporting parents, reducing financial strain, and investing in the success of our youth. 🌟💼

Memphis Athletic Ministries (MAM) is proud to announce a new partnership with Memphis Allies, a transformative initiative launched by @youthvillages. This partnership is a critical step in addressing the rising violence in Memphis neighborhoods, where homicides have surged by 81% since 2019. At the forefront of this new collaboration is Eric Watson, Jr. (pictured far right), who has been hired as the new SWITCH Connection Coach at MAM Olivet.
