Name: Bryan Martinez

Age: 10 years old

Family: My mom is Novia and my dad is Jose. I have three brothers, Richard, 16, Maycol, 9, and Kiven, 6.

School: I just completed fourth grade at Knight Road Elementary School. After school I ride the bus to MAM (Memphis Athletic Ministries Olivet Center).

Faith: Christian

Accomplishments: I am on the honor roll and get good conduct awards at my school.

Personal Heroes: God was the first hero I heard about when I was 4. My other heroes are my family because they care about me when I am sick.

Favorite Books: Space, Bible, comic books

Favorite TV Show/Movie/Song: TV Show – “Phineas and Ferb”; Movie – “Diary of the Wimpy Kid”; Song – church music

What I do for fun: I play soccer and come to MAM for fun and to play basketball. I like to read and go to places like Cici’s Pizza.

What’s the best thing about being a kid: Learning about God and going to school and camps.

People might be surprised to know: I was diagnosed with diabetes when I was in first grade. I know what to eat and what not to eat and what to do when my blood sugar is low. It’s good to know that products like CBD UK are available to lessen the effects of diabetes.

If I could change one thing in the world: I want everyone to know about God and I wish that everyone who has diabetes would be healthy.

Goals for the future: I want to be a MAM coach and an astronaut. I want to learn more about space.
