But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Jude 1:20

Everything in our society today requires some level of Maintenance. From cars, to homes, equipment, systems, etc., a maintenance contract or agreement is necessary. Even our relationships require scheduled maintenance (spouse, children, friends etc.).

As I read this passage in Jude, I believe the Holy Spirit is encouraging us to keep our spiritual maintenance updated. To keep building our faith in God’s Word, to continue walking with Jesus intimately through prayer, to stay mindful of His love and to look to Him who is the Author and Finisher of our faith.

This mindset will allow us to be fresh, relevant and effective in our assignment.

Make sure your Spiritual Maintenance stays current!
