As a staff, we gather together monthly to pray for the particular needs of one MAM center. Today, we invite you to pray for MAM Salvation Army as Joe Thompson and his staff minister daily to the youth who attend Newberry elementary and Wooddale middle and high schools.
Our Salvation Army center is reaching Hispanic youth through its new soccer program.
- Praise that more Hispanic youth are coming to our center.
- Praise that parental involvement is growing.
- Pray for more parents and youth to hear and understand the gospel.
- Pray for growth in our discipleship program.
- Pray that this community will see Jesus in all that we say and do.
- Pray for our partnership with Salvation Army Church, as we work together to build stronger families.
- Pray for the students of Wooddale Middle as the school may be taken over by the state.
- Pray for protection for our boys and girls in their neighborhoods and for our gym to be a safe haven.
