Hearts for Hope Gala
The 2016 Hearts for Hope Gala, held Feb. 6 at Woodland Hills, was part of the “Building a Better Memphis” campaign held by The Associated General Contractors — West Tennessee Branch. The organization presents the annual gala.
This year’s event included music by the Soul Shockers, a buffet-style dinner, open bar, gaming tables for those who like to play games earn gift cards and silent and live auctions. Proceeds support Memphis Athletic Ministries, which provides mentoring programs — in partnership with families, schools and community organizations — to at-risk youth through neighborhood centers in disadvantaged Memphis neighborhoods.
