The Memphis Athletic Ministries’ Grizzlies Center officially opened on August 28, 2003.
The Memphis Grizzlies mascot and local youth attended the ceremony along with John Calipari, University of Memphis basketball coach, Jerry West, Memphis Grizzlies coach, Gib Vestal, MAM president and chief executive officer and Shane Battier, Memphis Grizzlies player.
Located at 2107 Ball Road, the center provides after school activities for over 200 boys and girls, including mentoring, academics, financial literacy, Bible studies, sports and recreation.
